Gary Jeffress – Speaker, Business Trainer & Coach He’s recognised as the M.A.D Guy. MAD being a metaphor for Making a Difference. That is what Gary is passionate about and today he is here to share some secrets that helped him take a start-up venture business and turn it into a $3million dollar saleable enterprise with 30 active customers. In 1996 he left a well-paid job with a Gold Coast Company and started a Stationery business from a bedroom at home. Disillusioned with the ‘Norms’ of life. In 1999 he had expanded the business into a double lockup garage because of growth. In 2004 he again moved, although this time into a 520 sq mtr warehouse, which housed 8 staff and a half million dollar stock level. He also owned 2 beauty salons. In 2007 Gary sold his stationery business when the company sales had reached $3.1 million and was asked to coach a number of business people in their own ventures, which he still does today. 2 of those clients have since invited him to join their board of directors. Although these days his time is limited, with consulting teaching interests, Teaching Business is a rewarding task that Gary is passionate about. It fits with his Making a Difference mindset. |
